Confused which is better, Flat or Independent House? Explained Simple
Both have their advantages. My Bulls Estate team has many clients who had a budget for an Independent house but choose to settle in a flat and few were the cases where the family settled with an Independent house.
In this read, I am going to walk you through all the fears, concerns, and requests made by our clients. And on a positive note, we love listening to our clients so that we can share all our authentic stories with you. Here are the most common 3 factors which lead people to change their decisions and even their budget choices.
Joint Family Vs Nuclear Family
Practically speaking, joint family means a political party holding a space in the election. The bigger the family size, the larger the chai and samosa party, and eventually a huge kitchen, more sitting space, and dining area required to spend quality time with each other.
The smaller the family, a tiny and cozy space will do which can be maintained easily. Let’s say I have a family of 3-4 members. Why would I need an independent house where running from the first floor to the ground floor will occupy my time? Life design is very crucial for one.
Security of Independent House Vs Flat
Security of your house, kids, family, and your possessions is the topmost priority. You don’t want unwanted people knocking at your door or climbing on you whenever you step out of your house. A problem like this is dealt with by our security guards. No kids allowed outside for play and no outside kids allowed inside until prior information given. Usually, in India, we have a lot of chik chik over the parking problem with neighbors. The best part is your valuables like your car, bike, scooter, sport cycles for kids are safe and have their own space. NOBODY questions at all.
So an independent house has its own space but can’t be sure of what kind of security you will get and on other hand in a flat you have your own parking space and security guards who are answerable.
In Chandigarh, we see beautiful weathers like spring, and rainy to winters. So when it’s the rainy month we need to be assured that our drainage system is working well despite the place we are going to live in. Usually, when buying an independent house we need to focus on the area that will be having a proper drainage system developed in the given time. Nobody wants to be struggling in standing water. On the other hand, the same thing implies with society, one can always check before moving or registering themselves with the property.
Well we know it’s quite difficult, still to decide; whether to go for a flat or house?
